Yay! I've had this one done for a while now, and I've been dying to introduce these two. So far the plot of the comic has leaned towards deadly battle with some nonchalant humor tossed in, so I decided that it would be a nice break from the action to look in on these two for a while. I do hope you like them, because you're going to be seeing a lot of them for the next few weeks, and they'll be back again off and on throughout the run of the strip, pretty much anytime I feel like lightening things up. Besides, it's nice to work with original characters.

Astute readers may also notice a distinct change in the dialog for this strip, and yes this is a change that is going to stick around. Like the three panel format, the dialog panels with the face closeups were just to restrictive. It was nice being able to see the facial expressions, and it harkened back to the game itself, but the fact is it just took up too much room. Now I have a lot more freedom with the dialog, and you should be seeing the difference that makes soon.
